His Last Week of Work!

Monday- Well Monday was a very long day. I was bored, he was bored. That was until after he got off, and we went to look at a car, a blue Chevy Cobalt 2010. It runs very well and we are looking at getting it in October, as the truck, while it runs awesomely, is not practical for starting a family.

Tuesday- I got to be the messenger and go around campus doing stuff, super fun! I'll get to be doing that for him when he's in class soon enough. Everything is working out great! We are getting married on August 9 and we can't be more happier.

Wednesday- Today, well he has a eagle board of review to go to. So we have to go home right after work, so obviously we are checking the mail tomorrow. He has a couple concerns because this particular scout got his first class when he was 11, and you HAVE to be 12. Then 3 months later he had his life. Now he is 14 and getting his eagle. My son's will do a good eagle project and I won't let them get an eagle project that really won't help the community. It just doesn't make any sense. And the eagle project has to be run through their father before they start it.

Thursday- Today was fun. Found out that he has to sign things on Saturday today. Sounds fun, not! Well scouting is his life and I am so not about to take that away from him. I love EVERYTHING about him. We will always be involved with scouting no matter where we go and everything. I understood that scouting was the core of him when we got engaged. And I accepted that, but don't think that that means that I have to accept him being gone for 2 hours whenever he gets called. I just sit and worry until I see the car come down the road. Then I can actually eat. Last night was terrible because mom, his mom and yes I call her mom too, told me to go eat and I said, "Nah I'll wait for him." Its not because I actually had a choice, its because I have to wait for him to be home safely before I can eat anything. Its not that he's unsafe at the eagle board of review, its just that I cannot see him when he's there for two hours.

Friday- Last day of work! We got his parking permit today and its a really pretty green! We are going to go get his school supplies today and pay some bills as well. Bill paying, adult life sometimes has a draw back. We are getting outta here at noon and heading to Licking quickly to get some money out of the bank and then we are paying bills! Here we come to Married life! We have 8 more days until we are getting sealed and 7 more days before we set up for a reception! I love my man with all my heart and can't wait to wear the wholesome garments that come with being sealed to him.
